Contacts: Caller ID & Blocker (the "App") organises your contacts, tells you who is calling before you pick up, and keeps unwanted and spam calls away. This policy, written by the App's developer ("we", "us", "our"), sets out what happens to information when the App is used. Installing or continuing to use the App means these practices are accepted; anyone who does not accept them should not install it.

1. Data the App Handles

Subject to the permissions you grant, the App works with:

• Your contact records — names and telephone numbers held on the handset, which populate the contact list and allow an incoming number to be matched to a person.
• Call history — entries from the device call log plus the numbers of calls received and dialled, which feed the recent-calls view and caller identification.
• Numbers you block or report — retained, along with a device identifier, so that filtering continues to work.
• Technical signals — handset make and model, Android release, App build, language, device identifiers, aggregate feature-usage counts, and crash or diagnostic output.

Contact records and call history are handled on the handset itself. None of it is sold, and none of it goes to any outside party beyond what is described below.

2. Permissions and Their Justification

Nothing is requested ahead of the feature that requires it. Android's settings allow any permission to be revoked at will, in which case the dependent feature pauses until it is restored.

3. Why the Data Is Processed

Exactly these ends are served, and no others: running contact management, caller identification, call history, and blocking; keeping the spam filter effective; maintaining stability and correcting crashes; measuring aggregate usage for improvement; showing advertising to users on the free tier; enabling and restoring subscriptions. Personal information is neither sold nor rented.

4. The Free Tier and Advertising

Users who have not subscribed are shown advertising supplied by third-party networks, Google AdMob among them. Such networks may read the handset's advertising identifier and similar technical signals in order to choose which advertisement to display, personalised where the law allows it. Android's settings permit the identifier to be reset or deleted and personalisation to be disabled at any time. Advertising disappears from the App for as long as a subscription remains active.

5. Payments for the Subscription

An optional subscription is offered, removing advertising and opening the App's pro features. Payment is handled from beginning to end by the Google Play billing system: card numbers, billing addresses, and comparable details go to Google and fall under Google's privacy policy, never reaching us. What comes to us is an anonymous purchase token, used for nothing other than activating the subscription and restoring it after a reinstall or a change of handset. Records of purchases are kept only for the period tax and accounting law requires.

6. Components Provided by Third Parties

Each of the following operates under a privacy policy of its own, which we recommend reading:

• Google Play Services
• Firebase — analytics and crash reporting
• Google AdMob — advertising
• Google Play billing — subscription payments

We do not direct how these providers process data.

7. Protecting the Data

Sensible technical and organisational protections are applied to whatever the App processes. All the same, because no method of electronic storage or transmission can be called perfectly secure, absolute security is not something anyone is able to promise.

8. Choices You Keep

At any moment you may grant or withdraw permissions through Android's settings, amend or delete contacts, empty the call history, lift a block on a number, switch off ad personalisation, or remove the App entirely — uninstalling clears its local data from the handset.

9. Children

The App is not aimed at children below 13, or below 16 where regional law sets that age, and personal information is not knowingly collected from them. Anything received in error is deleted once identified. A subscription bought by a minor is valid only with a parent's or guardian's prior agreement; enabling purchase authentication in Google Play prevents charges from completing on a child's handset without an adult's approval. Parents and guardians with concerns may write to the address at the end of this policy.

10. Rights by Region

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, applicable law grants rights of access, rectification, erasure, and restriction over personal data, the right to withdraw consent, and the right to complain to a Data Protection Authority. Residents of several United States jurisdictions hold comparable entitlements, including opting out of any sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. A message to the address below is sufficient to exercise any of them.

11. Deleting Your Data

The App works without any account. Contacts, call history, and block lists are stored locally and vanish when deleted through the App or when the App is uninstalled. To have anything held by us erased, write to us and the request will be dealt with within a reasonable period.

12. Changes

This policy may be amended as circumstances require. Whichever version is in force, together with its effective date, is the one published here. Continued use following an amendment indicates acceptance of it.
